You can visit our Book a Visit page to send us a message. You will also find options to contact us by phone or email

What age range do you accept?

We accept children from 10 months to 5 years old. Our nursery is divided into different age-appropriate rooms to ensure each child receives age-specific care and learning opportunities.

      What are your opening hours?

We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on weekends, bank holidays, and between Christmas and New Year. We also have 3 additional staff training days per year where we close early.

Are you open during school holidays?

Yes, we remain open throughout the year except for bank holidays, Christmas/New Year period, and our designated staff training days. This includes all school holidays to support working parents.

How many children do you care for?

We are registered to care for up to 63 children at any given time in the Finchley Road nursery and 21 children in Hoop Lane nursery, with staff-to-child ratios properly maintained across all age groups as required by Ofsted regulations.

      What are your staff qualifications?

All our staff are qualified childcare professionals with minimum Level 2 qualifications in Early Years. Many hold Level 3 qualifications or above, and our room leaders have advanced qualifications and extensive experience in early childhood education.

How can I register my child?

Please contact us to arrange a visit and discuss your requirements. You can call us, email, or use our online contact form. We’ll show you around, explain our approach, and if you’re happy to proceed, we’ll provide registration paperwork.

      Is there a waiting list?

Due to high demand, we often have waiting lists for certain age groups and days. We recommend registering early, ideally before your child reaches the age you need care. Contact us to discuss current availability.

      When should I apply?

We recommend applying as early as possible. Many parents register during pregnancy or when their child is very young to secure a place for when they need it. Early registration helps us plan and ensures you have the best chance of getting your preferred days.

      Do you offer tours?

Yes, we encourage prospective parents to visit. Tours are available by appointment during operational hours. This allows you to see our facilities, meet staff, observe the environment, and ask any questions you might have.

What information do I need to provide when registering?

You’ll need to provide your child’s details, emergency contacts, medical information, dietary requirements, and any special needs. We also need to know your preferred days and sessions, and we’ll explain our fees and policies.

      What sessions do you offer?

We provide full-day care from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and are flexible with start and finish times within our operating hours. We can accommodate various patterns, including full-time and emergency childcare sessions, subject to availability.

Can I change my child’s days?

We try to be as flexible as possible with changing days, subject to availability. Permanent changes require notice, and we’ll do our best to accommodate temporary changes when needed. Please discuss any requirements with our management team.

Do you offer holiday or occasional care?

Yes, subject to availability, we can offer occasional care for registered families and holiday care during school breaks. Please book in advance as these sessions are popular and fill up quickly.

What’s the minimum number of sessions I need to book?

We prefer a minimum commitment that works for both families and our planning. This varies depending on demand and circumstances. Please discuss your needs with us, and we’ll work together to find a solution that suits everyone.

What does a typical day look like?

Our days are structured around play-based learning, with activities including outdoor play, creative arts, reading, music, and physical development. We follow EYFS guidelines while ensuring children have fun and develop naturally through play and exploration.

Do you follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)?

Yes, we fully implement the EYFS curriculum, focusing on the seven areas of learning and development. We provide engaging activities that support each child’s individual development while preparing them for their next steps in education.

How do you track my child’s progress?

We use an online learning journey system where we regularly upload observations, photos, and assessments of your child’s development. Parents can access this anytime and contribute their own observations from home.

Do you have outdoor play areas?

Yes, we have secure outdoor play areas that are used daily (weather permitting). Outdoor play is essential for physical development, and we ensure children have regular access to fresh air and outdoor learning opportunities.

How do you handle different learning styles and special needs?

We create individual learning plans for each child and adapt our approach to suit different learning styles. We have experience supporting children with various special needs and work closely with families and external professionals when needed.

      What meals do you provide?

      What are your illness policies?

We follow strict health and safety guidelines. Children must be kept home if unwell and cannot return until fully recovered. We have specific exclusion periods for different illnesses to protect all children and staff. We’ll contact you if your child becomes unwell during the day.

      Do you administer medication?

Yes, we can administer prescribed medication following strict procedures. All medication must be in original packaging with clear instructions, and parents must complete appropriate paperwork. Our staff are trained in medication administration.

How do you ensure safety and security?

We maintain high security with controlled access, CCTV in communal areas, and strict collection procedures. All staff undergo enhanced DBS checks, and we have comprehensive safeguarding policies. Regular risk assessments ensure a safe environment.

How do you communicate with parents?

We use various communication methods including our online platform, daily handovers, newsletters, parent evenings, and regular informal chats. We believe strong communication is essential for your child’s development and your peace of mind.

Can I visit during the day to see how my child is doing?

While we welcome parental involvement, visits during operational hours need to be arranged in advance to minimize disruption to the children’s routine. We’re always happy to schedule times for you to observe or participate in activities.

      What’s your late collection policy?

We understand that sometimes delays happen. However, consistent late collections affect staff and other families. We have a late collection policy with charges that apply after our closing time to cover additional staffing costs.

Do you have a complaints procedure?

Yes, we have a formal complaints procedure. We hope any concerns can be resolved through informal discussion, but we have clear processes for formal complaints. All parents receive details of our complaints procedure in our policies.

      What are your fees?

Our fees vary depending on the age of your child and the sessions required. Please contact us for current fee information as rates are reviewed annually. We accept various payment methods and offer different payment schedules.

      Do you accept government funding?

Yes, we accept all government funding including 15 hours for 2-year-olds (if eligible), 15 hours universal funding for 3-4 year olds, and 30 hours extended funding for working parents. We’ll help you understand what you’re entitled to.

When are fees due and what payment methods do you accept?

Fees are typically payable monthly in advance. We accept bank transfer, childcare vouchers, and tax-free childcare payments. We’ll provide clear information about payment dates and methods when you register.

      Are there any additional costs?

Our fees cover most activities, meals, and resources. Additional costs might include optional trips, special events, or items like sun cream and nappies (depending on our current policies). We’ll always inform parents of any additional costs in advance.

We have clear policies regarding payment during holidays and absence due to sickness. Generally, fees are still payable during short absences to maintain your child’s place. Details are provided in our terms and conditions.

What should I bring for my child?

We’ll provide a detailed list when you register. Generally, you’ll need to provide nappies (if needed), any comfort items, spare clothes, and seasonal items like sun hats or coats. We provide meals, activities, and most other resources.

Do you provide nappies and wipes?

      Yes, we provide them.

How do you support potty training?

We work closely with parents to provide consistent potty training support. We follow your home routine as closely as possible and provide regular updates on progress. Our experienced staff are skilled at making this transition positive and stress-free.

Do you provide formula milk and baby food?
